Watercolor and Oil Painting Classes for Adults

Dear art students and friends,

I will begin oil and watercolor (and pastel) classes on Tuesday September 12. Last spring’s experiment with two different times seemed to make many people happy, so I will keep that up. “Lunch and Paint,” noon till 2 p.m., we eat, talk and paint. Tuesday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m. will be the same. Fee the same as last year $125.00

I plan to emphasize technical skills and more “how to do it,” instruction. To improve your painting skills, I will continue to help you analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your art, searching together to find solutions. That is what makes painting so challenging and fun. There is no “right” way to do it, and the solution is like a puzzle to solve. Repetitive painting is not much fun.

As you improve you may consider exhibiting at the Milton Art Center and I encourage you to become a member.
