Watercolor and Oil Painting Classes for Adults

Beth Neville teaches watercolor and oil painting technique to adult students during a ten—week course which meets in her studio on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning September 27, ending December 10, 2011. Talented teens may also register for the classes.

Basic creative problems will be addressed in the sessions, but students interested in advanced techniques are also welcome. Each student develops his or her painterly ideas at an individual pace.

Basic art principles such as mixing colors, perspective, drawing, composition and symbolism are necessary for both watercolor and oil and therefore the media can be combined in the small class setting, usually less than 8 students.

Classes meet for ten sessions. The course fee is $110.00. Students are expected to provide their own supplies.
